Chocolate Sprinkle

Here is a picture of the roses that my husband purchased for me for Valentine's Day. My husband never buys me flowers, so I was quite surprised when he gave these to me. They smell so beautiful!

Below are some little treats that I made for some of Harland's teachers (i.e. Spanish and music) as well as the office workers at his school. I made the acetate box myself using a template that Lauren Meader (aka creative genious stamping goddess) provided on her blog. Lauren used Dove chocolates in hers, however I was running short of time and knew that I wasn't going to have enough time to run to the store before Harland's Kindergarten Valentine's Day party. I did have two almost full bags of Hershey Nuggets left over from the Nugget Tin that I made for Harland's teacher (would you believe that I forgot to take a picture...arrgghh!). Lauren, you'll be happy to know that your box holds 9 nuggets perfectly! The photo doesn't show it too well, but I stamped the Medium and Small Heart Circles in Staz-On Cotton White on the acetate. The nugget wrapper just has the Small Heart Circle stamped in Pretty in Pink on the mailing labels.

Thanks for the awesome template Lauren! I'll definately be using it again.

Project details:
Stamps: Cupid Kitty, Medium Heart Circle, Small Heart Circle (all from The Cats Pajamas)
Ink: Staz On Black and Cotton White, Pretty in Pink
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Papertrey White
Other: Pink Grosgrain ribbon, Pretty in Pink eyelet, Circle and Petite Scalloped Circle Nestabilities, WWC, Sakura Stardust pen, Spica glitter pens

What a special gift for the staff! Hershey Nuggets and Sprinkles! Very nice job on those boxes. That is adorable Valentine's treats.

Beautiful roses from your husband!
It truly is more special when he's not predictable and doesn't buy them often.

Where did you get those boxes?! I love the presentation. They would do wonderfully for wedding favors.
