I made this card for the weekly Cats Pajamas Tuesday challenge hosted by Katie. Katie gave us a challenge to use a very specific Cats Pajamas stamp (Ring of Flowers). Unfortunately, I do not own this particular stamp...yet. LOL! It's actually Alma's fault that I don't own this particular stamp as of yet. You see, she keeps releasing uber cool new stamps (i.e. did you see the Christmas clear line, and then the Western line, and then the new Mod, Mod World set?) which put other still needed stamps on the back burner. I decided "What the Heck? What's the worst that could happen if I still entered for the week and made a card without using that stamp....!?!" I decided that I would just use stamps from the same release as the little Ring of Flowers stamp.
Has anyone ever told you how stinking hard it is to photograph acetate cards? This looks MUCH cuter IRL! The lighting at 8:00 at night does not do this card justice. She really has a lot of shimmer and sparkle to her, the camera just did not pick it up. I don't know if you can see it, but there are little rhinestones in the center of each stamped flower on the acetate.
Here's an inside view of the card. I really need to work on my photography skills. LOL!
Hope all of you have a wonderful Mother's Day tomorrow! And in adopted kitty news, our newly adopted kitty has found her courage and is now roaming freely about the house. She went into heat one week and decided that she needed more loving that what her limited space under the bed would allow *snort*! Her name is officially Bella (and Karrie, would you believe that Willy and the boys came up with that on their own without reading my books?)! I'll try to get a good photo of her soon...she is very much a little lap kitty and assistant card maker right now.
