I could stamp all night....

I was desperately counting down the Fall/Winter release for The Cat's Pajamas. I was super lucky and won this clear stamp set from Karrie's blog. This image of Sprinkle has got to be one of my favorites.

I made this card for a swap that I was lucky enough to participate in (some of my stamping idols were in this swap :-) ). I really wanted to make my card special and I hope that I didn't dissapoint any of the ladies that I swapped with. I used one of Julee's wonderful card sketches for inspiration. If you have never been to Karrie's or Julee's blogs, I highly recommend it. These gals stamp like a dream!

The card base is Soft Sky (this has to be my new favorite "In Color". The patterned paper is made by Making Memories. It is from their Deck the Halls holiday line (Diagonal Stripe). I embossed a panel of Whisper White with my Snowflakes Cuttlebug embossing folder. Sprinkle is stamped with SU Basic Black on Shimmery White. I first watercolored and then went over with my Copic Spica glitter pens. I used Xmas Red Stickles on the Candy Cane. She shimmers so nicely...I really wish that the picture could capture the shimmer. I used my Giga scalloped punch on a metallic Kiwi cardstock made by The Paper Company (like Shimmery White except in a beautiful green similar to Wild Wasabi). The sentiment is stamped with Wild Wasabi on Shimmery White. I used the new SU corner rounder on all four corners and then matted this with a slightly larger green piece. I found these wonderful little snowflake sequins at a local scrapbooking store and thought that they would be the perfect embellshment to top everything off.
