I really dipped into my stash for this one! You see that beautiful flocked snowflake Vellum? I picked it up a couple of years ago (I think it's made by Making Memories) and this was my last piece. I figure coveting it wasn't doing any good, and sharing it's beauty with someone special will be MUCH better in the long run. I also used my Snowflake nesties and some vintage german glass glitter for the snowflake embellie. And well Sprinkle skating in her little pill box hat and fur muff? Well you just can't get any better than that! LOL! Clean and simple seems to be my style as of late (especially since I have about an 1 1/2 of "me" time at night to make a card, take the picture, edit and upload).
Good thing that I can multi-task like a fiend! Guess it doesn't hurt either that when I'm working I'm dreaming of that little bit of "me" time and what I can create. I deliberately left a sentiment off as I plan on adding it when I figure out who'll be receiving this little beauty come Christmas time!
Enjoy

Softly comes the falling snow......
OK, I couldn't resist trying to get one last piece in for the first ever TCP Blog Hop.

Coming in right under the wire!
I had to get this idea out of my head and onto paper for the first ever TCP Blog Hop!
My SIL decided to surprise us and pop in all the way from Oklahoma! Yikes....I love her to death but it put a huge crunch on my ability to get this finished in time. My stamp area now looks like a tornado hit it but I am happy with how it turned out.
Anyone who knows me knows how much I love Halloween! I have so many cute crafty projects that I have planned for this year it isn't even funny! I love that my kids are in elementary school so I have an excuse to make cute things to give. I even plan on having a Halloween Daily (just like Ali Edwards Christmas Daily album) this year! Anywhoo, here is my project.
I am seriously hugging myself because this turned out exactly like I had envisioned it would! I had forgotten how challenging stamping on vellum can be because of the slip, but once I started this I was determined to finish it!

Is this thing on?
Wowzers! It has been an awfully long time that I posted to the ole blogaroonie! Leave it to my trusty TCP stamps to get me off my butt and back into my stamp room! LOL!
What's prompting this remarkable feat you ask? Why the first TCP Blog Hop ever!

Most everyone is playing with the new stamps (and they are adorable so who can blame em?)! Me....I have to go with the stamps that made me fall head over heals in love with Sprinkle to begin with. Yep...the fabulous Valentine's release from long ago (I was shopping with Alma back in the day when she only sold rubber)! LOL!
And Alma, for the first ever TCP blog hop, I wanted to let you know that I dipped into my stash. There is designer paper from Little Yellow Bicycle (including that heart border that I *horrors* cut in to), bling, and that cute little button that I've been saving for the perfect occasion. This picture really doesn't do the card justice, but it was taken after all past 11:00 PM MST....and I'm tired...and I wanted to make sure that I get at least one project in for the first ever TCP blog hop.
Thanks for stopping by!
Linda
