I made this for the Inspiration Challenge over on Splitcoaststampers today (IC118). I've been wanting to get this Sprinkle image inky for what feels like forever! LOL! I have to do a quick post today (I need to get cracking on a birthday cake for the double birthday party tomorrow to celebrate Harland and hubby's birthdays)!
I've got a cute little Poochie image stamped and matted (I'm hoping I'll have time to finish that up tonight).
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

A case for using the Stamp-a-ma-jig
A pretty card ruined by a misplaced sentiment. Why didn't I use my trusty Stamp-a-ma-jig?
Could it be:
a. The little black cat that is giving me love bites on my feet?
b. Is the tool SO complicated that its use would make one wary?
c. Is it 10:20 PM on a Sunday night and I was just too lazy to bring the trusty tool out?
d. Has the Stamp-a-ma-jig been lost to the piles of clutter on my stamp desk?
The answer is C (although D is not too far behind). Don't you hate it when an otherwise pretty card is botched by the misplacement of a sentiment? Oh well...I'm too tired to start it over so I'll just live with it. The card layout and colors and cased from a drop dead gorgeous card made by the very talented Beate Johns (I'll post a link to the specific card later. Right now I've got to start packing my lunch and getting ready to leave for work).
Happy Wednesday!
Stamps: Bloomin' Beautiful, Canvas
Ink: Timber Brown Staz-On, Chocolate Chip, Bashful Blue

Birthday Cupcake Mojo!
Sorry for the lack of posts this last week. I started my new job on Monday and the training shift is throwing me off (2:30 PM to 11:30 PM). I've also been spending 3 days a week in my oldest sons Kindergarten class (so he will at least see mommy during the week) which means that I'm having to wake up at 6:00 AM. Burning the candle at both ends has left little time for stamping. Hang in there with me though...I have a couple of cute things up my sleeve!
My oldest son will be turning 6 on Tuesday and this is going to be his birthday card. I used Julee's Mojo Monday sketch (Mojo26) over on her blog Poetic Artistry. The card uses my Hero Arts clear Cupcakes set. This is a perfect gender neutral stamp set (after all, boys like cupcakes too)! The sketch this week was a bit of a challenge for me, but I'm happy I gave it a try.
Have a wonderful week!
