June PTI Blog Hop

Hello!  I  managed to eek out a  little time this month to participate in the June PTI  Blog Hop.  I  just loved this months inspiration  photo  and was inspired by  two  images in particular,  the sunburst  and the  chevron  pillows.

I'm going to keep this short and sweet as the internet has been down at my house for the past two days and  I'm being forced to do anything internet related from my phone.

First  up,  my  sunburst  card.   Used the PTI  set Hello Sunshine.  I  stamped one set of  rays  with Gold Delicata  ink.  LOVE  this  ink!   The  other  set  of  rays  were  stamped with versamark  and then  covered  with heat and  stick  powder.  I  then  covered  the  sticky  parts  with  vintage  glass glitter.    I  did  an acetate overlay as I  didn't  have a  good place for a  sentiment  (learned  that from Jess Witty).

Next  up. a CASE of Nichole Heady's  beautiful  Rosie  Posie card  from a  few months  back using new goodies.   Used the vertical  chevron  cutting  plate.   For the Rosie Posie step 2 set, on the  flowers  and  leaves I stamped  the  gold delicata  ink again.   The flowers are stamped  in Harvest Gold and Vintage Cream,  the  leaves  in Limeaid Ice   Peeking out under the  chevron overlay  is the PTI  shimmery  gold  paper.

Thanks for  stopping  by!   Once my internet is up and  running,  I'll  be visiting  everyone!

True Moo

My youngest was feeling a little bored, and with it being a little chilly and windy, going to the pool today was out of the question.  I've been taking advantage of the down time today to try to clean up my craft room a little bit.  So what does mom being in her craft room + a bored kid equal?  A cute little note card using the PTI On the Farm set (I had to get the whole shebang because I have a certain cow loving boy).  Spotted cows are his favorite!  He made the spots using PTI Grunge Me.

He also wanted me to point out that the sentiment has a cool, almost like 3d effect (I think it looks like the chalkboard technique) because he accidently wiggled the stamp when stamping it!

Here's to many more stamping adventures!
